The Lenovo Tab 4 8, Tab 4 10,Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus are Lenovo's latest tablet offerings on thier newly announce Tab 4 series. The said tablets come in two size variants, an 8-inch and 10-inch display, and is further categorized as a standard version or one with the Plus moniker, as what their names suggest. All of them have noticeable similarities and differences with each other in terms of the specifications and features.
The 8-inch and 10-inch standard tablets (Tab 4 8 and Tab 4 8 Plus) sport a resolution of 1200 x 800 pixels and are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. Both pack 2GB RAM and internal memory storage of either 16GB or 32GB. Going to the optics, both sizes come with a 5-megapixel rear snapper and a front-facing camera of 2 megapixels.
On the other hand, both the 8-inch and 10-inch Plus variants (Tab 4 8 Plus and Tab 4 10 Plus) come with a display resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Powering the two Plus tablets is a Snapdragon 625 chipset. There are also two memory configuration options for the devices, a 3GB RAM/32GB ROM variant and a 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM one.
Both of the Plus models feature a front shooter of 5 megapixels and an 8-megapixel rear camera. The Plus variants sport a dual-glass design, a USB 2.0 Type-C port, and a fingerprint scanner.
The 4 tablets on the Tab 4 series have stereo speakers with a sleek casing and multimedia features such as dual stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos. All of the said devices also runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and come in with WiFi+LTE and WiFi-only models.
The Tab 4 series is expected to be available globally around May. Regarding the price, the 8-inch Tab 4 8 cost USD 109 whereas the 10-inch Tab 4 10 can be purchased for USD 149. The 8-inch Tab 4 8 Plus on the other hand, cost USD 199 and USD 249 for the 10-inch Tab 4 10 Plus.
