About Samsung Tablets
Samsung Tablets are a cut above the rest when it comes to performance
Samsung, being a world renowned in technology and telecommunication systems, was founded by Lee Byung Chul in 1938. This company is currently best known for their lineup of smartphones and tablet computers that possess exceptional performance records as well as value for money. In the Philippines, Samsung Tablets have risen in popularity because of the fact that this company has time and again delivered their promises and pushes the boundaries of technology and innovation with every single release. Headquartered in Suwon, South Korea, Samsung has now etched its name in the books of history to be the world leaders in tele-communications.
History of the maker
Samsung reported that they made a growth of over 40% to become the world's second largest producer of mobile phones. After Nokia, this company sold more than 300 million units worldwide. In 2012, Samsung gained another feather to its crown by being named the largest brand running on Android by Google with a market share of 46%. Its tab lineup is a fairly new concept aimed to serve as a replacement for laptops, which has gained an unexpected surge of popularity in the Philippines due to their portability and network connectivity features.
Features of Samsung Tablets
- Galaxy Tab 3: Released on July, 2013; this model still continues to sell in the thousands because of its stellar configuration. Its most notable features are 8.0 inch screen, Android Jelly Bean OS, 1.5 GHz Dual-core processor, Mali 400 GPU, MicroSD up to 34 GB, 5 MP primary camera, 1.3 MP secondary camera and an outstanding 4450 Li-Ion battery.
- Galaxy Tab 4: Prime features of this model include 10.1 inch screen, 1.5 GB of RAM, 3.15 MP primary camera, 1.3 MP secondary cameras, 1.2 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 16 GB internal memory. Excellent battery backup is provided by a 6800 Li-Po battery. The two aforementioned devices are the currently popular ones in the market.
Reasons for popularity in the Philippines
Samsung Tablets enjoy a fantastic reputation in the country due to the company's famous brand image that they have made over the past decades. Its name is now associated with reliability, performance and all around great looks that largely go unmatched so far. With new releases just around the corner, people are hyped up about what new innovations the company will bring. Samsung products in the Philippines may cost slightly more than its locally produced counterparts, but the price is well worth paying considering their after sales service.
