Yamaha Motor Corporation was founded on 1st July 1955 under the active leadership of company President Genichi Kawakami after its separation from parent company Yamaha Corporation. Yamaha FZ has a similar engine configuration with a total power output of 10.1kW and features an electric start mechanism. It has a 5 speed return type power transmission system in combination with a hydraulic single drum or disc brake.
