Samsung has steadily held its place at the top spot in the Android market. Whatever kind of smartphone you are looking for, surely Samsung has you covered. They have lineups ranging from entry-level models up to the more expensive flagship offerings. Through the years, Chinese-branded smartphones have garnered quite a reputation in the entry and mid-range segments. They have been so popular as of late that if Samsung doesn't up their game, chances are they can lose a large portion of the market.

Today, we're here to find the best budget Samsung Galaxy models available in the Philippines. We narrowed down our list by choosing the best models priced under PHP 20,000.

Conclusion

If you are familiar with the competition, surely you'll notice that Samsung is behind the competition in the entry-level and low-mid-range segment. Under the same price point, the competition is able to offer better display resolution, high refresh rates, better camera features, better chipsets, and larger battery capacities.

On the other hand, when it comes to the upper-mid-range segment, Samsung can be seen to offer features that are mostly found on more premium phones such as an AMOLED display and a more sophisticated camera setup capable of 4K video recording using the front and rear cameras.

Hopefully Samsung can work with its shortcomings in the future. It'd be great if they can offer mid-range phones with a high refresh rate display, better camera setup, and a larger battery capacity with faster-charging speeds to match up with the competition.
