MyPhone has now officially launched the MyPhone myNX1, a smartphone that's specifically targeted to attract the Filipino masses. Its main attraction? Its staggeringly low price point.
Only retailing at a price of PHP 3,999, the MyPhone myNX1 packs tons of features that are both modern and more-than-decent. The device comes with a large 6.18-inch FWVGA+ screen and sports a tall 19:9 aspect ratio. And to make the smartphone a standout in its class, the smartphone's display is armed with a notch too.
Under the hood, the Filipino-made MyPhone myNX1 is powered by a decent 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC7731E quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage; the latter is expandable via its microSD card slot. Perhaps one of the most surprising features of the handset is the inclusion of the efficient Android (Go edition) OS which is based on Android Oreo as well.
The new MyPhone myNX1 is also an all-rounder in its camera department. With its price point, you'd get a rear 8M camera which also features autofocus and an LED flash. On its notch sits an able 5MP front-facing camera sensor. Topping these camera offerings is the accompaniment of a beefed-up security feature - a rear-mounted fingerprint reader. For a device which is considerably inexpensive, this feature is more than welcoming.
Other notable features of the MyPhone myNX1 are its Wi-Fi functionality, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG (MyPhone DTV Dongle Compatible), and a decent 2,950mAh battery capacity. The device retails in four color options – Silver, Violet, Gold, and Blue.
Would-be buyers can now avail the device at MyPhone stores and affiliated kiosks, right alongside the brand's concept stores nationwide.
