June AnTuTu Rankings Now Up, nubia Red Magic 3 Still on Top

The June rankings on the Android benchmarking site AnTuTu for the Chinese market have just been revealed, with the nubia Red Magic 3 taking the top spot for the second straight month.

AnTuTu, the leading benchmarking site for Android devices, releases a ranked list of the best-performing smartphones every month. The site tests most Android phones from major manufacturers. Gaining the top spot on AnTuTu can earn a phone manufacturer some bragging rights - some even use their high scores as marketing fuel for their phones. AnTuTu uses different stress tests on a phone which has corresponding numerical scores. These combined scores constitute the final score we see in the rankings. A phone with 4000 points will have about twice as much power compared to a phone with only 2000 points.

AnTuTu's June ranking is now available for everyone to see, and from the looks of it, very little has changed since May. Taking the top spot again is the nubia Red Magic 3, continuing its lead from last month. AnTuTu recorded 382,331 points overall for this phone.

The nubia Red Magic 3 only shipped last May, and since its unveiling, it has dominated AnTuTu's charts. Powering the Red Magic 3 is a Snapdragon 855 chipset, with its most powerful variant getting 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It also has an octa-core CPU and an Adreno 640 GPU.

The nubia Red Magic 3 holds a narrow lead over the second-placer, the Black Shark 2. Like the Red Magic 3, the Black Shark 2 has a Snapdragon 855 SoC, with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage as well. It garnered 375,592 points.

Rounding up the Top 3 is the Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer, another Xiaomi product, with 371,021 points. As for the two other top phones, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Explorer has the same Snapdragon 855 SoC, with 256GB of internal storage and 8GB/12GB of RAM. It seems the only difference between these phones are the minute details that make performance just a bit better.

Rallying up the Top 10 are the Xiaomi Mi 9 (370,884 points), the OnePlus 7 Pro (368,307 points), the Meizu 16s (367,981 points), the OnePlus 7 (367,718 points), the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro (367,003 points), the Samsung Galaxy S10+ (361,449 points), and the Samsung Galaxy S10 (360,327 points).

What do you think about these rankings? Can the nubia Red Magic 3 maintain its lead for the third straight month? Or could a new player take the top spot this time? Stay tuned as Priceprice.com keeps track of the latest AnTuTu rankings.
