ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite images show an 18:9 display, quad cameras

The upcoming ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite has been in the rumor mills lately, starring in several image leaks. As per the photographs, the smartphone will sport a full-screen display and quad cameras.

ASUS's launch event on the Mobile World Congress 2018 is expected to be dominated by the upcoming ASUS ZenFone 5. Apparently, its sugar-free version, the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite, will also make an appearance at the event. In fact, the device has been in the rumor mills lately after it starred in three consecutive sets of leaked images. The first photograph was an image render shared by the well-known leaker Evan Blass, whereas the second one is a live photo sourced from an Instagram user. The third one is an image showing the phone in different colors, which is again, from Evan Blass.

As per the photographs, the ASUS ZenFone 5 Lite features four cameras, comprised of two 20-megapixel front-facing shooters presumably coming with Beauty Mode and artificial bokeh, and vertically-positioned dual 16-megapixel rear snappers. There's also a single-LED flash and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner below the primary cameras. It seems to have a glossy glass back and a metal frame with the iconic ASUS branding on the bottom part. Going to its front fascia, we can spot a full-screen display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and a tall 18:9 aspect ratio while its screen size might be somewhere between 5.7 and 6.0 inches. It will be available in three color variants, namely Black, White, and Red.

The press event of ASUS is said to take place on February 25 during the MWC in Barcelona. For sure, all of us are excited to see the new ZenFone 5 series. No worries, we are only roughly two weeks away from the trade show.
