HP releases new 14-inch 1080p Chromebook with pricing starting from $280

HP releases a new budget friendly Chromebook that says “EVERYTHING YOU NEED NOTHING YOU DON’T”.

On October 19, HP announced its new 14-inches Chrome OS operated notebook the HP Chromebook 14. Processor was upgraded to Intel Celeron from NVidia and they even added a full HD 1080p resolution version in the line-up.

Conventional, practical and affordable are the best way to describe the HP Chromebook 14. Design wise, well it’s not dramatically good or even something you’d be proud to show off to others. The Chromebook 14 is only available with 2 color options which are turbo silver and sky blue. It looks boring you say? Worry not, because what’s inside is what matters.

The HP Chromebook priced at $249.99 features a 1366x768 IPS display, Intel’s dual-core Celeron N2840 (2.16Ghz), 2GB of RAM, 16/32GB of storage (SDD), Micro SD slot, 3 USB ports (3.0 x 1), HDMI connection and a battery that promises to last for 9.25 hours when fully charged. The price for the full HD 1080p model starts from $280.
