About Dell Latitude

You would expect more from business laptops. After all, they are for your source of livelihood and you would not want to be inefficient and inaccurate. When it comes to business laptops, you can rely on the Latitude series, a laptop line from Dell Computers specifically designed for business use.

Popularity in the Philippines

Since Dell is not a stranger in a computer-savvy country, their Latitude series is, not surprisingly, well-known and quite popular. Consumers are delighted with the reliability and security that the laptop computers offer. Most of the laptops are sold via authorized dealers and re-sellers and Filipino can easily shop and compare prices.

Product Features

The laptops are actually designed and manufactured by Quanta and Compal and retain similar components throughout the production to simplify their maintenance, allowing large corporations to easily swap components between models.

In addition to this, the computers also come with Dell's RoadReady specification. The casing is made with durable magnesium alloy, internal metal frames and Strike Zone shock protection, which prevents the laptop from getting severely damaged when dropped or exposed to severe impact. A lot of the models also boast of free-fall sensors or solid-state drives.

Of course, since they are designed as business computers, Latitude laptops often include security features like contactless smartcard, smartcard and TPM security along with lid clasp, support for legacy standards and DisplayPort video out. To date, Dell Latitude is available in a number of series:
