Mi Philippines is expected to debut the newest variants in the ever-expanding lineup of Xiaomi Mi 8, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, and the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, anytime soon. But as their features and specifications have already been outed online, none of them have managed to reveal their local prices. Well, not until their purported flyers which bear their price tags came flying around.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, touted as the "budget" Mi 8 variant, features a 6.26-inch full HD+ IPS notched display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It's powered by a premium mid-range Qualcomm SoC, the Snapdragon 660 and is accompanied by Adreno 512 GPU. The phone is coupled with 4GB/6GB RAM tiers and 64GB/128GB of non-expandable storage.
On its rear, the device packs a dual-camera setup, courtesy of 12MP + 5MP camera sensors. The handset's notch, on the other hand, houses a 24MP front-facing snapper. It runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo and works on a 3350mAh battery.
Other notable features are the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, and Infrared Face Unlock technology.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite will come with a price of PHP 14,990 for the base 4GB/64GB variant while the more beefed up variant, the 6GB/128GB edition, will cost PHP 17,990.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro
The more premium variant of the two, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro's main attraction is the inclusion of an on-screen fingerprint scanner. But beyond the beefed up security feature, the device is a true flagship on its own.
It features a 6.21-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED notched display with a resolution of 2248 x 1080 pixels. It's fueled by Snapdragon 845, coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM options and 128GB of internal storage. The device packs a rear dual camera setup, with 12MP + 12MP camera sensors; a 20MP selfie shooter sits on its notch.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro works on a 3000mAh battery and runs the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, noted for its true flagship offerings will carry a price tag of PHP 32,990 for the 8GB/128GB variant.
