Vivo's Indonesian fans are in for a huge treat soon as one of the company's most ambitious smartphones appears to be waiting for just the right time to be released. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer's plan to announce the Vivo V17 Pro to the market isn't exactly a mystery now as its official Instagram account has just its released promotional posters, revealing some of its key features down the line.
Perhaps the most headline-grabbing feature the Vivo V17 Pro is about to unleash into the world is the inclusion of a dual pop-up selfie camera, one that isn't equipped in any modern smartphone yet. One of the posters also showed that the selfie camera will sport a wider selfie algorithm, right alongside a system that enables clearer night shots.
The Vivo V17 Pro is also expected to feature a quadruple-camera setup on its rear. One of the posters showed the back panel of the phone, with what appears to be an LED flash placed at the center of the vertically-aligned setup.
Another takeaway from the Vivo V17 Pro's promotional posters is the presence of a notch-less display, which isn't a surprise as the phone is equipped with a mechanized selfie camera.
Now while the posters didn't reveal much relative to the Vivo V17 Pro's actual specifications, the wait to actually finding them out is now over as its detailed features have already leaked online, courtesy of a promotional video.
Accordingly, the Vivo V17 Pro's dual pop-up selfie camera module will feature two 32MP primary sensors with a wide-angle lens equipped in the fold. The system is also tipped to feature a bokeh effect. On its rear, the phone's camera setup is said to house a 48MP sensor as its main camera, an 8MP wide-angle secondary sensor, and two 2MP sensors. The video also revealed that the setup would support Super Night Mode for improved low-light pictures.
The promotional video clip of the Vivo V17 Pro also revealed the two-color options of the phone. Although their actual names weren't shown, the accompanying images suggest that a dark blue and white color alternative are now in the mix.
Previous reports also indicate that the Vivo V17 Pro is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor, which leads us to believe that the phone could also launch with an AMOLED display. Other rumored features of the device include a Snapdragon 675 SoC, up to 8GB of RAM, at least 128GB of internal storage and a 4,100mAh battery capacity.
The Vivo V17 Pro's official launch date in Indonesia remains to be unknown at the time of this writing.
