Having released the two smartphones under the Galaxy A series of smartphones, it looks like Samsung is up to something again. The company is perceived to release the 2017 variants of their J-series smartphones in the near future. And that is what the Samsung Galaxy J7 hinted recently.
The leaks regarding Galaxy J7 have come up a few times in the past, and again, a new leak is now circulating online. It emerged when the Samsung Galaxy J7, together with some of its major specifications, was spotted on Geekbench. The device was seen bearing the model number SM-J727P. It also showed the scores of the phone in the single-core and multicore performances, which is 889 and 4200, respectively. The benchmark listing also revealed that the phone would run an Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It also unveiled that it will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2.21GHz and coupled by 2GB RAM.
Considering the past rumors, we can come up with the idea that the Galaxy J7 will sport a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display and is said to pack a 16GB internal memory storage. It is also said to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. It is also rumored to be backed up by a 3000mAh battery.
We can see that this year's Galaxy J7 will feature many hardware improvements and will come with a faster CPU than Galaxy J7 2016's Exynos octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz. It will also have the latest version of Android OS as what is aforementioned. If you are thinking what this new phone would look like, you can likely refer to the past leaks that showed some alleged 3D renders of the Galaxy J7. Moreover, we can now expect that the device would appear sooner than later, and then we can distinguish which is the real one from the several circulating leaks nowadays.
