The OnePlus 6T may still be deemed as OnePlus' most radical smartphone in terms of design and features in recent years, but with the OnePlus 7 Pro already launched, the brand has finally pushed the boundaries for good.
Probably the most headline-grabbing feature of the OnePlus 7 Pro is its new 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution and an impressive 90Hz refresh rate; the latter feature should readily impress every gamer out there. Alongside these astounding features, the brand also managed to cram in an HDR10+ feature. Ultimately, the screen doesn't come with a notch as the device comes with a 16MP pop-up camera sensor, conveniently placed in the left portion of the handset's frame.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855, readily equipped with a 10-layer vapor cooling chamber. The device is also accompanied by 6GB/12GB of RAM tiers and 128GB/256GB of internal storage options.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is also noted for being the company's first smartphone with triple cameras on its rear. The main camera module is equipped with a large half-inch Sony IMX586 sensor with a large 48MP resolution. In addition, the setup boasts of a new UltraShot feature which also enables HDR+. OnePlus claims that the feature allows the camera to capture light four times more than most of its rivals in its class. Apart from more light, the camera is also expected to produce a sharper resolution.
Supporting the 48MP camera module is an 8MP telephoto lens which offers 3x zooming capabilities via its optically-stabilized f/2.4 lens. Finally, its 16MP ultra-wide angle camera completes the sophisticated setup.
Also among its stronger features is its improved in-display fingerprint sensor which is now upgraded to a third-generation sensor. As it goes, unlocking your device has never been this fast and easy. The same can be said with its 4,000mAh battery capacity which comes packing the brand's new Warp Charge 30 (5V/6A). According to OnePlus, the new battery feature can control the temperature and that users can play games while the phone is being charged without the phone heating up.
The OnePlus 7 Pro is set to become available in the United States on May 17 and will then be launched in Canada, India, Hong Kong, and Europe in the following months. Its base 6GB/128GB variant is priced at USD 670 (around PHP 35,100). It retails in three color options – Nebula Blue, Almond, and Mirror Gray.
Word isn't out yet when it will be launched in the Philippines but it should anytime soon.
