Much Anticipated OPPO Find X now up for pre-order in the Philippines
The China-based tech firm OPPO has finally brought the Find X to our local market where it is now available for pre-registration started on July 5 until August 1. It is worth noting that the phone's pricing information is yet to be known.
Before the month of June concluded, we have heard an interesting report: A teaser image of the Find X surfaced on the official site of OPPO's Philippine subsidiary, suggesting that the Chinese tech firm is bringing the sought-after device to our local market. Sure enough, the OPPO Find X is now up for pre-orders in the country started on July 5 and will be available until August 1 in the following authorized retail stores: SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, Gaisano Mall of Davao, SM Aura Premier, SM City Dasmarinas, North EDSASM, Clark, Pampanga, Calamba, Cebu, Fairview, Urdaneta, Baguio, Manila, Marikina, and Market! Market!.
To pre-register for the smartphone, you must head to one of the aforementioned concept stores and approach an in-store representative, after which you will be asked to provide some needed information including your name, address, and contact number. You must shell out PHP 5,000 as a down payment and return to the store on August 6 to receive your OPPO Find X and pay your remaining balance. The downside is that we still don't know how much the phone costs, though we are expecting that it won't come cheap. And if you ever cancel the purchase, you won't get a refund of your initial payment.
Based on its pricing in China, the OPPO Find X costs CNY 4,999 (around PHP4 0,000) for the 128GB model and CNY 5,999 (around PHP 48,000) for the beefier 256GB model. As a refresher, the OPPO Find X sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display having a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB storage variants, Android 8.1 Oreo platform, and a 3,730mAh battery. Aside from a solid specs sheet, the Find X boasts a pop-up mechanism housing the rear and front cameras as well as the facial recognition hardware.
If you can't wait to get your hands on the OPPO Find X and you have the cash to spend in on one, then pre-ordering it right now is your best shot. But if you're hesitant because of its unannounced pricing, then you might want to wait until its pricing information is out. We'll be sure to inform you right away once we learn about it, so stay tuned.
