Overview
The Lexus LX is a luxury Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) series from Lexus. the Lexus LX is also often referred to as a twin of the Toyota Land Cruiser, but it comes with a more luxurious version. The design accentuates the luxury of a typical Lexus car, but its performance and off-road capability can be compared to the Toyota Land Cruiser. Bearing the name of the Lexus, of course the luxury owned by the Lexus LX is above average. The interior cabin is loaded with luxury features, comfort features, a unique device that is easily accessible to the driver, and an ergonomic seat that is comfortable to use. In addition, the Lexus LX looks distinctive with the Spindle Grille with SUV body boxing like the Land Cruiser.
The latest generation of the Lexus LX rolled out early this 2019 in the Philippines. Its presence complements the Lexus LX 570 variant which was first present. The Lexus LX 570 Sport appears more ferocious than the more formal and calmer Lexus LX 570. The Lexus LX is a series of luxury SUVs from Lexus, a sub-brand of Toyota that focuses on premium cars. Two variants are offered in Indonesia, namely the Lexus LX 570 and the Lexus LX 570 Sport. Both are carrying a V8 engine, 32 valve DOHC, 3UR-FE with a capacity of 5,633 cc which is capable of spewing out a maximum power of 362 HP at 5,600 rpm and torque of 530 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Thanks to this large-volume engine, the Lexus LX uses an 8-speed automatic transmission system with a four-wheel drive system combined with crawl control features to control gas, brakes and transmission. Thus, the driver is more focused on the steering maneuver. Lexus LX also has a good acceleration rate. The Lexus LX 570 has an acceleration of 0-100 km / h in 7.8 seconds and top-speed touches 220 km / h.
For driving comfort, the Lexus LX is equipped with the largest Colored Head-up Display feature in its class that can provide the latest vehicle information for the driver. In order to fully charge the gadget's battery, the Lexus LX also offers a wireless charger in the rear passenger seat. The Lexus LX is present in the large-engine luxury SUV segment. As a skilled SUV in off-road terrain, the Lexus LX faces a number of tough competitors such as the Toyota Land Cruiser itself, which is still the parent company, there are also Land Rover Discovery, Land Rover Range Rover, Lincoln Navigator, and also the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. When compared with his own brother who is still one-stop, Toyota Land Cruiser VX Grade carries a 4,461-cc diesel engine capable of producing 232 HP power and 616 Nm of torque. All the luxury design and durability of the engine owned by Lexus LX makes this car must be redeemed at a price more expensive than the Toyota Land Cruiser. The Lexus LX 570 is offered at a price of PHP 8.5 million, while the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado is sold at a cheaper price, which is PHP 3.3 million.
Exterior
The Lexus LX 500 Sport has a more manly exterior. As the High Luxury SUV line-up, the Lexus LX comes with dimensions of length of 5065 mm, width of 1980 mm, and height of 1865 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2850 mm. With its large dimensions, the Lexus LX still looks luxurious and masculine. The presence of chrome accents in some parts makes the Lexus LX look even more elegant.
