The popular Lenovo K-series is about to get more crowded in the Indian market as the company has finally unveiled another entry; all bound to shake things up in the entry-level segment.
The Lenovo K9's main attraction is without a doubt its quadruple cameras, with both panels featuring two cameras each. On its rear, a dual-camera setup can be found, courtesy of a 13MP for its main camera and a 5MP for its secondary module; the second one is tasked for its images' depth sensing. On its front, another dual-camera setup is seen, and interesting enough, it also comes with the same modules. Another surprising set of features is the AI-assisted bokeh effect, alongside a cool Face Unlock technology.
The display offerings of the Lenovo K9 don't disappoint in its class either. It boasts of a larger 5.7-inch IPS HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels; a taller 18:9 aspect ratio is also thrown into the mix, making the device's display all the more spacious. Fueling the device is a MediaTek Helio P22 and is boosted by a decent 3GB RAM and an expandable 32GB of storage on board.
Running the entire show is a robust 3,000mAh battery and the current Android 8.1 Oreo right off the bat. Other notable inclusions are a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and a USB Type-C connectivity. Note that the device's back is made of glass. And for an entry in this segment, this is a major plus for the design pros.
The Lenovo K9 carries a price tag of INR 8,999 (around PHP 6,600). It comes in Black and Blue color variants. The budget-friendly device is now up for pre-order in India exclusively through Flipkart. There's no word yet in terms of its availability and official pricing in the Philippines although it's expected that these details will pop up anytime soon.
