Now that February is almost done, rumors surrounding the next Apple products are naturally rife. Probably the most talked-about product set to be released in March is the iPhone 9 / iPhone SE 2. Unfortunately, this upcoming iteration isn't exactly abundant with certainty relative to its availability.
Recently, a new report from the German tech site revealed yet another development in terms of the iPhone 9 /iPhone SE 2's release date. Accordingly, Apple is already slated to hold a media event at the very end of March. The low-cost iPhone's release date is said to follow on Friday, April 3. The latest information was taken "directly from the Apple environment," as interpreted by Google Translate.
For the eager fans of the iPhone SE who've been following its development as of late, the latest tidbit should no longer come as a surprise. Noted Apple analyst Ming Chi-Kuo, in one of his latest predictions, reported that the phone's successor might see the light of day during the first three months of 2020.
Apple's recent decision to forge a new relationship with Taiwan-based suppliers also indicates that the Cupertino, California-based firm is on all fours on doubling the production of the iPhone 9. This is quite aggressive, even in Apple history – a development that only entails that the company is more than eager to release such a refresh.
And with good reason.
The iPhone 9 is, without a doubt, one of its more exciting releases in years, and not only because of its purportedly low pricing. The phone is also tipped to arm some of the most game-changing features in the 'entry-level' competition.

As per Kuo's previous report, Apple is speculated to adopt the design of the iPhone 8, one that still holds the series' iconic and now-polarizing bezel-laden design. As it is, the phone could very well launch with a 4.7-inch screen, right with a Touch ID sensor.
Kuo also shared that the iPhone 9 would run on Apple's A13 Bionic processor – the same SoC that powers the current iPhone 11 series. If there's anything, this is certainly a homage to the original iPhone SE, which sported the iPhone 5's design and got its power from the then-current A9 Bionic chipset.

In terms of its pricing, the iPhone 9 should also hark back on the retail appeal of the iPhone SE, with recent speculations pointing to around the USD 399 (around PHP 20,200) mark. This is the same price tag that the 2016 compact iPhone launched with.
