I bought this in addition to my Macbook(reinitialized Core duo 2.0GHz).
My review is mostly based on comparison to this Macbook so please keep in mind that it will be somewhat subjective.
[Product concept]
This is like a comparison between compact cars made in Japan such as Honda Fit or Toyota Vitz (Win laptop PC) and a European unique compact hatch cars such as BMW MINI (Mackbook Air).
The user's identity/personality is strongly reflected.
Like, even though MINI is small and has an incovenient three-door hatchback and it feels like it lacks something, these points may be what makes it so attractive.
Same for this Air.
If you can relate to the simple design concept and values, all other laptops will only be "just a laptop".
In a similar example, a netbook is like a k-car, it sacrifices certain functions to keep the cost low, but Air omits functions that its users won't need.
So the purpose is absolutely opposite.
[Processing speed/Graphic]
This is only in comparison with the early Macbook, but the improvement of graphics is remarkable with softwares such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
(But I don't see much difference with CS3 and earlier versions, probably because the Intel chip isn't optimized)
I used Windows using BootCamp at first, but I started getting annoyed with the GUI that doesn't match the stylish computer body at all and the you-know-what business software, so I removed it.lol
[Expandability] I use a wireless mouse and an iphone modem (both with Bluetooth) so I have no complaints.
Although I'm using my iPhone as a modem using an unauthorized software..
I carry my music data and video data on my iPhone rather than my Air, and now that I've removed BootCamp, I am satisfied with the HDD storage.
If you use a free software called "SimplifyMedia", you can stream music from your music library on your computer at home with Air, so I use this to listen to music that I couldn't put in my iPhone.
[LCD quality]
It so good compared to the old Macbook.
I haven't compared it to other laptops so I don't about them.
[overall review]
There is no other laptop that satisfies my needs.
Early Air models were too expensive right after the release, but since the price has dropped, there is no need to hesitate anymore.
By the way, Air is priced higher than MacBook on auctions, so even if I sell this and buy a new one in two years, I think its cost performance is high.

It is so amazing it even blurs the other PCs.

Because I have an aluminum MacBookPro, I honestly thought I didn't need one, but I ended up buying it as a bonus.
Rather than regretting it after buying it, I fell in love with the charm of its difference from the MacBookPro.
The best charm point is that design.
Fascinating to look at, it is a design that is sharp but has a feeling of "warmth".
The expandability is the same, but it has an appearance that doesn't feel like it has anything unnecessary, saying, "This is functional beauty."

Of course, the full keyboard is the same as on other Macs, and with these functions, it is worth noting that it is 1 kg lighter than the MacBookPro.
Though it is often said that "expandability is low," during regular use, I don't notice it at all.
If it comes down to it, there are the RemoteDisc and dedicated USB expansion ports (sold separately).

So that I could use it at work, right after buying it, I put Vista on using BootCamp, but startup was slow (though still faster than Windows machines).
I noticed that there was no problem if I only used Microsoft Office, so I bought the Mac version and deleted Vista.
For using Air, I think it is better to decide on one method of use rather than using it in a grey area.
A machine that does not compromise at all even with everything useless chipped away from it...
That is Air.

I strongly recommend it to those who knows Mac well, rather then Mac beginners.

※Processing Speed

I was torn between this model and SSD model.
I ultimately chose this one as I saw a review saying there is no difference in two except the copying speed of the folders.
There is no problem for actual use.

※Graphics ability - I do not have much data to compare it with, but it is extremely amenable for photo editing
※Usability (Options) - Upgrading BootCamp to Ver.3.1 to use MagicMouse on Windows 7 is extremely difficult to understand.
It depends on the mouse and touch pad settings.
There are no other problems in general, and it is easy to use.
※Portability - Because it weighs 1.36kg, it is pleasant to use, but because it is almost excessively light, I think it is necessary to be careful about slipping.

※Battery - It will not last 4 hours on a full charge.
There is much room for improvement in the future.
※LCD - With respect to glare, it is extremely easy to read the screen, so there is no problem.
※General evaluation - What surprised me is that the processing speed does not let any stress get to it.
About expandability, I would have liked at least 2 USB slots.
Though the keyboard lights up when a sensor notices it gets dark, it doesn't have any real use.
When I use BootCamp, I feel strangely relieved.

With Windows and Mac, anything can be done!
That's the sort of feeling I have.
Though it really is like that in reality!
I am completely satisfied!

Overall, I'm satisfied with it.

I purchased it attracted to the defined and it's wireless specialization.
I will write a review based on couple of months' use.
I switch the OS depending on the usage.

[Utilization environment] Win7+OSX
[Good points] -Cable is not troublesome -Design -Thinness -Easy to dual boot
[Problems] -Ventilation fan is not well controlled (there are cases wherein after startup, although there are clattering noises, the fan does not rotate)
-When running Windows, there is lag when entering the @ key, and if you don't press the @ key down for a long time, you can't enter @.
There is no problem with the key itself, so I think it is a driver problem.

It's not bad as this class of a laptop.

Air, as being the most Niche type amongst all the Macs, is the model bought for limited use.
But I'd like to remind the viewers of Kakaku.com again that if they buy it, they have to agree that the use or application will be limited.
Personally, as I have a smartphone, Air, sub-PC and main-PC, which may be a good condition, I'm not urged to use Air but I'll be in trouble if I I have solely Air and don't have other devices.
If you can agree with the limited use or application of Air, the cost performance is not bad compared to Windows PC of similar price.
