About TOSHIBA REGZA
Toshiba reinvents modern technology for 3D TV in Philippines
After improving handheld and PC technology in Philippines, Toshiba has decided to venture in to the brand of household electronics. This is the reason as to why it started producing various household electronics goods for improving the overall lifestyle experience. TVs are the new thing in modern technology, so Toshiba has decided to spend its resources in to developing better and improved forms of TVs in Philippines.
Toshiba's venture in to producing TVs is relatively new. It was first devised way back in 2010, when Toshiba announced their new product – a REGZA 21 inch LED TV prototype with 3D technology. The specialty about this TV was despite being available in 3D technology; you would not have to wear glasses to experience it. This technology was revolutionary as it used a new integral imaging system to produce parallax imaging. Its retail product was made available in December 2010. Popularity in Philippines
Toshiba is actually one of the pioneers in modern television technology. So, it is quite expected to have a huge popularity in several countries, including Philippines. Due to their advanced technology, Toshiba released a new brand known as REGZA which produces modern TVs. In addition to that, Toshiba has also pioneered 4K Ultra HD LED TVs in Philippines, with 3840x2160 pixels resolution.
All of the above innovations started way back in October 2010, with the introduction of 3D TV prototypes.
REGZA 32PU200 – This 32 inch TV is full HD, and operates on LED technology. Its resolution is 1366x768 pixels, with LED backlight and 30000:1 contrast ratio. In addition to that, it also has 2 HDMI ports with composite video PC input terminal.
REGZA 24P2300 – Another 24 inch model from Toshiba, this features 1366x768 pixels resolution and 100 cd/m2 brightness ratio. Other components include 3 HDMI ports; along with composite video and RCA audio PC input terminals. D-Sub 15 pin, with 3.5 mm mini jack is also present for better compatibility.
REGZA 50L2300 – This model is an epic TV with a display unit of 50 inches and full HD display. Multiple resolutions available – with both 1920x1080 pixels as well as 2560x1080 pixels. Additional components include 2 HDMI ports, with USB movie and PC input terminals.
As far as the HD TVs are concerned, Toshiba maintains a very strong public image of innovation and discovery. This helps to impress a wide section of their customer base. Since these TVs usually cost a bit more than other products in Philippines, so Toshiba does not bother to reduce their proposed price for a meager technology.
