Vivo has been pretty busy from the start of 2018, the company introduced the world's first-ever smartphone with an under-display fingerprint scanner, the Vivo X20Plus UD at the CES event back in January, followed by the launching of the Vivo APEX concept phone with a pop-up selfie camera at the MWC event on February. While the APEX is still set to begin mass production by mid-2018, the Chinese tech firm again is said to be prepping two more new devices, dubbed as the Vivo X21 and Vivo V9, which are bound to arrive before March ends. Specifically speaking, the Vivo X21 will drop on March 19 whereas the Vivo V9 is expected to debut on March 27.
The Vivo V9, which previously showed up at a billboard in Indonesia, will be launching first in India. The newly-published promotional materials revealed that the Vivo V9 sports a FullView display with an iPhone X-like notch on top which houses the 24-megapixel selfie shooter and other necessary sensors and a very slim bottom bezel. The camera-centric smartphone also has a dual-rear camera setup on board. The device is expected to be priced at around INR25,000 (about PHP20,000), which is noticeably more expensive than its predecessors, the V7 and V7+, costing only INR18,990 (about PHP15,000) and INR21,990 (about PHP18,000) respectively.
On the other hand, the Vivo X21, which serves as the successor to last year's X20, will be outed in the company's home country, China. In fact, Vivo already released press invites for the upcoming phone. Sadly, the invite did not tell anything else except for the fact that the X21 will come with an under-display biometric sensor just like the X20Plus UD.
As we near both the device's respected launch dates, chances are that more news regarding the Vivo X21 and Vivo V9 will come on the following days, so stick around as we keep you posted about these new Vivo phones.
