Honor has been putting out a lot of good smartphones lately, but this has been offered through online channels, third party stores, or through the grey market. This is well and good, but it means that warranty and support is limited since Honor has no official presence in the Philippines... until now.
Honor has recently announced that they will be opening their first and only Honor concept store in the Philippines very soon. The concept store will be located in SM North EDSA's Annex building and will be on the third floor. SM North EDSA is also the home to other flagship concept stores like the Philippines' first official PlayStation concept store.
The opening will take place this Saturday, October 13. A short program will commence at 11am in the morning and will conclude at 12 noon. This program is open to the public and Honor said that the public, including you, is more than welcome to take part. For more details and real-time updates, be sure to sign up here for more details.
Reports of Honor officially setting up shop in the Philippines have been floating around since late September, with Honor executives committing that it will open in time for the Holiday shopping rush.
The opening of the Philippine branch of the Honor store couldn't have come at a better time since the Honor 8X has just been recently launched. Packing a huge 6.5-inch HD+-resolution IPS display panel, and driven by the Kirin 710 chipset, the Honor 8X might become a hit for those on the lookout for a new smartphone since consumers would now have a chance to test the phone in the flesh and see if it's a great fit for them.
In case you cannot make it to the official store launch this weekend, you can check out Honor's smartphone selections through other means since they have established official partnerships with other offline and online vendors like Argomall, Lazada, and Shopee among others.
