About BlackBerry Storm
BlackBerry Storm boasts of features that are impressive
The BlackBerry Storm is a model developed by Research in Motion technology, and features a touch screen instead of physical keyboard. The touch screen reacts similar to press of a button, thanks to RIM technology, which has been patented by the company. In Philippines, the Storm competes with T-Mobile G1, iPhone and the HTC touch family. Initially the series came under scrutiny as critics claimed its touch screen was not either user-friendly, or buggy in nature. But that phase came to pass as it was also praised for excelling in business type features.
Popularity in the Philippines
Belonging to 9500 series, the BlackBerry Storm was launched in Philippines among much anticipation and expectations. When the phone finally arrived, it had the confidence of people who were already fans of the brand because of its reliability. Its appeal was mostly limited to people who had to use it for business purpose. But, soon after launch, their impression changed with the realization that this phone serves a purpose that extends much beyond the confines of corporate use. Needless to say, many people breathed a sigh of relief as their favorite brand brought a multimedia device.
