About Meizu Mobile Phones
Meizu mobile phones include high and mid-ranging devices but with more than a few top-end specs. Aiming to be a stand-alone top-end smartphone manufacturer, Meizu looks to go global with a new range of devices. Read on.
Meizu Mobile Phones: Loaded Smartphones for an International Push
There are few brands with a more aggressive marketing strategy and range of devices than China's Meizu mobile phones. Starting off in Zhuhai China, their devices hit the huge Chinese market since 2003 and have since come up with chart-topping figures in China.
Their expansion drive from the Chinese market into the South-East Asian region was an obvious move but that's not of the story. Sporting a strong range of devices, Meizu Mobile phones are going all in with a push to the largest markets on a more global scale.
Exclusively High-End Devices
Segments in this smartphone industry depend on the less price tags and more on the features. Although features and pricing are relative, upcoming brands like Meizu need to compete against manufacturers with higher brand recognition and larger consumer footprint.
Meizu has a huge range of devices but the manufacturers want to escalate their brand image to reflect high-end outputs. Industry insiders say that Meizu is all but ready to solely concentrate on high-end devices by diverging its entry-level models under the brand 'Blue Charm.'
For buyers, this would firstly mean that upcoming devices in 2017 will have stronger specs with the company obviously trying to cement its place as a stand-alone top-end brand. Secondly, the current devices might have a more competitive price tag especially in the South-East Asian markets.
In short, Meizu looks set to be one of the few stand-alone high-end smartphone manufacturers around in this market.
New-Gen AI FlyMe 6 OS
A rising trend among manufacturers is to add more value to their devices with exclusive OSs. With the likes of Huawei, ASUS, Lenovo among others all integrating their devices with intuitive User Interfaces above stock Android OSs, Meizu's in-house FlyMe UI is a natural reaction to buyer sentiment from them.
But Meizu has a stronger user base for its FlyMe UI series. It is one of the most popular UIs among Android users from a global scale. Flyme 6 is the latest UI from them, open for use in third-party devices other than Meizu mobile phones.
This is an innovative way to increase consumer footprint, i.e. acquainting consumers with the brand name. There's more innovation inside this upcoming UI. One of the many stand-alone features includes live image search with a directory of over 65 million searches (Like Google Goggles).
FlyMe UI rates as one of the best over-Android UIs around as per user reviews. Meizu has won multiple accolades from industry experts for creating a strong visual package without undermining utility aspects.
The flagship in this range of devices is the Meizu Pro 6 Plus. This device is simply top-end from every single aspect. So much so that, the only devices which buyers might consider instead of it are iPhones or Galaxy S8's. And the manufacturers want to make sure that they will.
An excellent 5.7-inch FHD IPS display with 518 PPI and 600 nits of brightness can compete against Samsung's Super AMOLEDs. This is easily one of the best looking all-metal structures from the industry, sleek stylish and suave. Processing power comes from a 12-Core 2.6 GHz Exynos 8 setup, one of the most powerful smartphone setups till date. To continue, the 12 MP primary rear camera comes with a Sony sensor, 4-axis OIS, f/2.0 aperture and 10-LED circular flash.
Meizu Mobile Phones for Philippines Market
Philippines will get multiple Meizu products other than the Pro 6 Plus. The list includes the M3 series, M5 series, MX series and the Pro series too. This is one of the most important markets for these Chinese manufacturers, Philippines does play a large part on the global sphere. Meizu mobile phones are simply all set to go global.
