About Amazon Mobile Phones
Amazon Mobile Phones – A Unique Device with Powerful Performance
Amazon is an American international company which is considered as the world's largest online retailer. The company is headquartered in Seattle, United States. The company is also dealing with manufacturing, distribution, and marketing of electronic products and they also own websites such as IMDB, Audible, Comixology, Goodreads, etc. They also got its huge popularity for making the Kindle series of ebook readers, the Kindle line of tablets.
Amazon Mobile Phone a Flop?
After a sensational lunch, the Amazon's Fire Phone has failed and has finally hit a big speed bump on mobile phone product which marks a big disappointment for the online retailing giant. It failed for several reasons; first, the device couldn't offer what the other brands of mobile phones on the market did. It's so difficult to use because it doesn't have access to many popular applications like Maps, Gmail and others though it's an Android phone too but doesn't have the most important aspects that someone needs to have on this phone. It was too pricey before too because it was exclusive to AT&T.
Amazon is Currently Working on a new "Ice" Smartphone
Amazon might be planning to take another shot by selling its own smartphones. The largest online retailer which has failed on their previous Fire Phone is working on with a new line of smartphones branded as "Ice". It will have full access to Google services and applications which includes the Google's Android operating system with Google Mobile Services and the Google Play Store. By supporting Google could help the Amazon "Ice" Phones lineup to get a taste of their success unlike with the Fire Smartphones. But based on the news, the new smartphone doesn't come pre-install the Amazon's digital assistant Alexa which is surprising because Alexa does a big help by providing a better interface for the tasks that anybody wants to do on their smartphone hands-free.
Reasons for popularity in the Philippines
Amazon became popular in the Philippines because they are considered as the world's largest e-commerce store and got its huge fame through their line of e-book readers. The Amazon's current plan of selling a new "Ice" smartphone will surely make the Filipino waiting and expect for the more upgraded smartphone than the previous Amazon Fire phone. The Philippines has a wide market for people who stay updated with technology and because of this, there are many people now who are expecting that the "Ice" Phone will really sort all the previous problems of Fire Phone out, will be reasonably priced and have the best of Amazon and also the best of Android. Even though there are many brands that will be possibly competing with the Amazon smartphone, Amazon still doesn't want to give up on smartphones yet.
