About Lenovo Thinkpad
Lenovo ThinkPad laptops provide a range of attractive options
Lenovo Thinkpad, in the Philippines, is a lineup of tablets and laptop, computers, originally designed and marketed by IBM, after which Lenovo took over the PC business from IBM in 2005. Known extensively for their minimalist design and exceptional performance, the Thinkpad series enjoys a very good reputation in the Philippines. The design was made by Richard Sapper in the 1990’s on the concept of Bento lunchbox of Japan. These models have attained popularity among business organizations, schools or other education sectors where the demand for multimedia is less and efficiency in computation is high. The ThinkPad is one and only lineup that is authorized for use on the International Space Station, which is actually an achievement to boast of.
The name "Thinkpad" is a product of IBM’s culture and corporate history, as Thomas J. Watson Sr. introduced "THINK" as their slogan back in the 1920’s. In the coming decades, the company boasted of their product by emblazoning on the brown leather cover on their products. Later on, the "Thinkpad" logo was changed to accommodate further models that needed to be identified by numbers.
