About Sony Desktop Computers
Sony Desktops are set to receive a new lease on life soon
Sony, being the global leaders in entertainment and technology, brings you their first models of the Desktop lineup. Sony Desktops are relatively new compared to the company's total existence in this business. In Philippines, people have just begun to take notice of desktop lineup as most are preoccupied with their smart phones, laptops and tablet computers; all of which continue to be Sony's trademark products. Headquartered at Minato, Tokyo, Japan; this company has broadened its horizons to most parts of the world and grown exponentially in terms of both sales and popularity, which are mutually exclusive.
Features of Sony Desktops
The only models available in Philippines at the moment are quite high-priced, but that is to be expected since production amount is at a minimum and features are jam packed. Their names and specs are as follows:
Sony VIAO Touch screen Desktop J20236: This is a desktop that offers multitude of attractive features that makes it an enticing purchase, among most other brands. It is powered by Intel Core i5 3337U CPU, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 500 GB Hard Disk and Windows 8 OS. This model comes with a 20 inch screen with capacitive touch screen and maximum resolution support of 1600 x 900 pixels. Other important features include Intel HD 4000 Graphics, HD Web Cam, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, USB 3.0 and Multi slot for SD, MS Duo cards.
Sony VAIO VPCL218FG/B: This model brings together an assortment of powerful components and presents them as an all-in-one device. It has Intel Core i7 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 1 TB HDD and Windows 7 OS by default. This is one beats of a machine due to its sensational performance rates. There is a 24 inch screen with LED backlighting and maximum resolution capability of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Its GPU is a 1 GB NVIDIA GeForce GT540M.
Reasons for popularity in the Philippines
Sony Desktops are still not popular among majority of Filipinos because the lineup has not been marketed quite well yet. Apart from business centers or the corporate sector, these models haven't found much exposure in homes and among people who are casual users of computers. But that trend is likely to change soon as the company is planning a major advertising revolution to launch their desktop series into the mainstream. In Philippines, you can expect these models to pickup pace towards the middle of 2016.
