Alleged Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus pricing spotted ahead of announcement
Xiaomi Mi 6, as well as its bigger sibling, the Mi 6 Plus, is set to debut on April 19. Prior to the official announcement, the two devices' pricing and memory configurations are already leaked online.
Xiaomi has finally revealed when the widely-anticipated Mi 6 will be launched; it will be taking place on April 19. However, it seems that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will not come alone. The phone's bigger sibling, the Mi 6 with the Plus moniker, is expected to be unveiled together with the device. Ahead of the launch, the pricing and memory configurations of the two smartphones have already leaked.
As per the leak, the pricing of the Xiaomi Mi 6 will start at CNY 2,199 whereas the larger Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus' price range will start at CNY 2,699. The Mi 6 is touted to come with two memory options- 4GB RAM with 64GB built-in memory and 4GB RAM with 128GB native storage. The 64GB Mi 6 will be priced at CNY 2,199 (around PHP 15,800) while the 128GB model carries a price tag of CNY 2,599 (around PHP 18,700). On the other hand, the Mi 6 Plus will arrive with three different memory configurations- 6GB RAM with 64GB onboard storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB internal memory, and 6GB RAM with 256GB inbuilt storage. The Mi 6 Plus' 64GB variant is listed at CNY 2,699 (around PHP 19,400), the 128GB version carries a price tag of CNY 3,099 (around PHP 22,300), while the 256GB model is priced at CNY 3,699 (around PHP 26,600).
Regarding the other specs, the previous leak reveals that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will sport a 5.2-inch display whereas the Mi 6 Plus comes with a 5.7-inch screen. Under the hood, both are expected to have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. The two devices will be running an Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with MIUI on top. The Mi 6 will be fueled by a 3200mAh battery while the Mi 6 Plus will sport a 4500mAh cell.
