Samsung Galaxy S9+ showcased in several colorful phone cases
The larger device of Samsung's upcoming flagship phone offerings, the Galaxy S9+, recently leaked in images which showcase the device in a bunch of colorful cases. Both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are expected to arrive at the MWC in February 2018.
Considering that we are nearing the launch of Samsung's next-gen flagship devices, the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, which will allegedly happen at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2018, leaks and rumors came pouring in great quantity. Last week, we saw some photographs showing the two upcoming smartphones wearing transparent protective cases. And now, we came across several images of the Galaxy S9 with the Plus moniker still wrapped up in phone cases, but this time, in some remarkably colorful ones. Apparently, both sets of leaked cases have done a great work in revealing almost all of the design details.
As what we already know, the difference between the Galaxy S9 and its larger sibling, the Galaxy S9+, is not limited only to their display size and battery capacity, but the Galaxy S9+ also has a different camera arrangement. For instance, the base model comes with a single camera module on the back panel whereas the Plus variant features a vertically-positioned, dual-rear-camera setup flanked on the right by the LED flash and heart rate monitor, and below by the fingerprint sensor. You will surely love the new location of the fingerprint scanner which is now more accessible by your index finger minus the smudges on the camera module.
Going to the phone's front fascia, we are looking at an Infinity Display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Sadly, there's still no confirmed information regarding the Galaxy S9+'s display size although rumors point to a 6.1-inch panel. Powering the device is either the latest and most powerful Snapdragon 845 chipset or the South Korean giant's newest in-house Exynos 9810 processor, depending on the region. As what was aforementioned, the Galaxy S9+, alongside the smaller Galaxy S9, is expected to unveil at next year's MWC event.
