Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus pre-orders to start on April 7
Samsung's flagship devices, Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, is reported to be officially launched on March 29 and slated for an April 21 market release. In between those dates, the company will be accepting pre-orders starting April 7 until April 17.
The Samsung flagship duo, the Galaxy S8, and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones were known to be unveiled before this month ends, on March 29 to be exact. We already know that the tech giant will be hosting the 'Unpacked' event on that said date to be held simultaneously in New York and London. Moreover, we have also heard about the date when the devices will be hitting the market shelves, which is said to be on April 21. Well, the new report tells about when the pre-orders of the phone will start.
Previously, we assumed that it will take place on April 10. However, this latest info says that it will start on April 7 and will last for 10 days, until April 17. As of now, it is not yet known if all markets will be conducting the pre-orders starting that day or if it will be for selected ones only. But we do hope that we can have that opportunity. After that, on April 18, Samsung will hold pre-launch events at all major carriers' stores across the country. The event can only be attended by selected subscribers and it will include some draws having a prize of up to KRW 3 million. Between April 18 and April 20, the Korean carriers will give the subscribers the chance to test out the new devices. On the next day, which is April 21, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones will be available for purchase.
Apparently, the widely-anticipated phones will be released according to the company's timeline of events. We are indeed very eager to take hold of the much-awaited devices that each sports 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch displays. The two smartphones are expected to be powered by the latest and fastest Snapdragon 835 processor.
