Samsung Galaxy Note9 concept render revealed
Samsung Galaxy Note9 is a long way off, but it has already started hitting the rumor mill although sparingly. In the latest development, a fan-made concept render of the handset have surfaced online, suggesting an Infinity Display with minimum bezels, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a triple-rear-camera setup.
Samsung, being the world's largest smartphone vendor, doesn't rest on its laurels. Therefore, after launching the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ flagships, the South Korean conglomerate has quickly moved on to trademark the Galaxy Note9 moniker.
While this could be just the beginning of prepping the Galaxy Note9, the concept render, albeit fan made, has already hit the web giving us a whole lot of insight as to what we should expect from the forthcoming flagship which will succeed the Galaxy Note8.
The render exposes the handset from both the front and the back panels. The first thing about the design that draws our attention is that the handset is made of glass and metal much like any other flagship from Samsung since 2015.
The render further reveals that the Galaxy Note9 will feature the full-screen Infinity Display design. But compared to the Galaxy S9, the bezels on the Galaxy Note9 will be the bare minimum from all the four sides coupled a taller aspect ratio.
On the backside, the fingerprint scanner is nowhere to be found. This gives rise to the speculation that the scanner will be integrated into the display. In fact, the renders suggest a fingerprint scanner fused towards the lower part of the screen.
Most prominently, the rear panel shows a vertically aligned triple-camera setup in the line of the upcoming HUAWEI P20 Pro. Tiny LED lights are situated on both sides of the sensors while the LED flash interestingly lies at the bottom. Overall the camera module design is unique, and at best can be described as futuristic.
The concept renders also hint towards a wireless charging, a heart rate monitor, Bixby Button, as well as S Pen, features to grace the Galaxy Note9. But it is too early to hazard a guess about the specs of the device. Most likely info in this regard will start trickling out in the coming months. The handset is expected to launch in August sticking to the same timeline in which the Galaxy Note devices usually launch.
