Samsung Brings the Galaxy J6 to the Philippines, Priced at PHP13,990

The South Korean tech firm has recently welcomed the latest member of its budget-friendly Galaxy J series, the Galaxy J6, and its newest brand ambassador, Nadine Lustre. The new phone, endorsed by Nadine, offers a lot of great features at a price of PHP13,990.

The budget-friendly Samsung Galaxy J6 is set to make a splash in the Philippine market. In fact, the South Korean tech behemoth published the behind-the-scenes footage for the upcoming TV commercial shoot for the new Galaxy J6 with the in-demand young actress Nadine Lustre, who is now Samsung's newest celebrity endorser alongside Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, and Yassi Pressman. The latest member of the inexpensive Galaxy J-line sure offers a slew of remarkable specs, with Nadine choosing the Dolby Atmos feature as the one she likes the most. In addition, she also impressed with the phone's capacity to handle hardcore games without any lag.

Equipped with an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz at the helm, the Galaxy J6 boasts a fast and immersive gaming experience. A Mali-T830 GPU sits inside the package and takes care of the graphics department. There's 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The screen space measures 5.6 inches and makes use of a Super AMOLED panel. The Infinity Display comes with a resolution of 1480 x 720pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. Software-wise, the Galaxy J6 runs on a pre-installed Android 8.0 Oreo platform.

Samsung equipped the Galaxy J6 with a 13-megapixel rear snapper and an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter both having f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. As for the connectivity, the device has 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, and Micro USB port. It ships with a fingerprint scanner and a facial recognition technology for biometric authentication. Everything is kept running by a 3000mAh battery pack. You can choose between Black and Gold colors. It is expected to cost PHP13,990 and is already being sold in some local retailers ahead of its official launch in the country on June 16.
