Alleged OPPO Find X pricing leaks in the Philippines via Facebook
OPPO has tried to lure a lot of patrons to pre-order the Find X in the Philippines without telling them exactly how much the device costs. However, we are not kept in the dark forever as some leakers revealed its price: PHP49,990.
The last time we talked about the sought-after OPPO Find X is just a few days ago. If you are an avid reader of our articles, you would know that the flagship phone is already up for pre-orders in the Philippines. As a refresher, we mentioned the requirements as well as the amount you have to pay before you can pre-register: PHP 5,000. However, we did not mention anything about the pricing of the Find X, which was not available at that time. Now, we have the purported information to fill in the blanks, thanks to the Facebook posts of several OPPO sales representatives in an OPPO-centric group on the social media platform.
The leakers reiterated the news that the OPPO Find X is now available for pre-order starting July 5 until August 1. As what was aforementioned, you have to shell out PHP 5,000 to show your interest in the product. On August 6, you must go to the concept store where you pre-registered and pay your remaining balance. According to them, the Philippine SRP of the Find X is PHP 49,990, which is just PHP10 less than PHP 50,000. Let's do a bit of math here: PHP 5,000 less of PHP 49,990 would be PHP 44,990, that would be the amount you have to pay for in full upon claiming the device on August 6. If you have a lot of money to blow, why not purchase the OPPO Find X? Is it really worth your hard-earned money?
The OPPO Find X sports a massive 6.4-inch OLED touchscreen having a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. There's a Snapdragon 845 octa-core chipset clocked at 2.8GHz and coupled with Adreno 630 GPU at the helm. RAM is 8GB while the built-in storage is a whopping 256GB. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1 skin and packs a 3730mAh battery with support for VOOC Flash Charge technology. Its main selling point is its innovative sliding camera mechanism which houses the dual-rear-camera system comprised of a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 20MP lens with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, OIS, and LED flash, as well as the 25MP selfie snapper with an aperture of f/2.0.
Are you willing to pay about PHP 50,000 for a phone having these set of specs and features? Or would you settle for other flagships that cost way cheaper?
