HMD Global has already set a launch event for the much-anticipated Nokia X (X6) on May 16. The Nokia X has been a mainstay in the rumor mill lately, which is why there seems nothing we do not know about the device. Even though we are already getting tired of Nokia X news, another one has recently surfaced in the rumor space. The latest leak we have here is the Geekbench listing of the phone that reveals some details regarding its internals which could put all of your doubts to rest and reaffirm what was being tipped previously.
As per the documentation coming from the Geekbench database, the yet-to-be-unveiled Nokia X will indeed come powered by a Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor clocked at 1.61GHz. It is expected to pack a hefty 6GB RAM while 3GB and 4GB variants might also be offered. It will run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box. Regarding the benchmark scores, the Nokia X was able to reach 1332 points in the single-core test whereas it got 4892 points in the multi-core test. As what we have noticed, the scores are on par with those of other Snapdragon 636-toting smartphones such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The rest of the specs include a 5.8-inch LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 2280 x 1080pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is said to measure 147.2 x 70.98 x 7.99mm and weigh 151grams. The internal memory storage will be either 32GB or 64GB and can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It will feature a 16MP + 5MP dual-rear-camera setup and a 16MP front-facing shooter. Everything will be kept running by a 3060mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. You will be able to choose between three color options; Black, Blue, and Silver. It is pegged to cost CNY1,499 (around PHP12,000). We can see the device get launched on May 16.
