After hitting the 3C authority database, the Nokia X (X6) has now arrived in the Chinese TENAA certification agency. The upcoming device will land on May 16 complete with a dual-rear-camera setup and octa-core processor.
HMD Global is about to drop a new budget-friendly smartphone at their launch event scheduled for May 16. The device in question is the Nokia X (X6). A few weeks ago, the Nokia X (X6) surfaced in the 3C authority in China to receive its go signal from the regulatory board. The upcoming gadget was listed with the model number Nokia TA-1099. We have recently spotted a Nokia-branded handset having the model number in the Chinese TENAA certification agency, revealing all the key specs of the phone.
The TENAA listing was accompanied by a bunch of Nokia X (X6) images which shows an external design similar to the previously-leaked ones. As per the photos, the device sports a bezel-less display with an iPhone X-like screen notch at the top, a dual-rear-camera setup with LED flash, a rear fingerprint scanner, and a glass front and back panel with a metal frame in between. It measures 147.2 x 70.98 x 7.99mm and weighs 151grams. The smartphone features a 5.8-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2280 x 1080pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9.
Going to the innards, the Nokia X (X6) has an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz, believed to be a Snapdragon 636 chipset. There are three RAM variants available: 3GB, 4GB, and 6GB. You can also choose between 32GB and 64GB storage. The dual-rear-camera configuration is expected to be comprised of two 16-megapixel sensors. Another 16-megapixel snapper sits on the handset's front fascia for selfies and video calls. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo platform out-of-the-box and packs a 3000mAh battery on board.
The Nokia X (X6) is available in several color options, namely Blue, Black, Silver, and White. The phone will be unveiled in less than a week in China, so we won't be waiting for too long. It is said to arrive in other markets outside of China in the following months.
