Lenovo launches PHP 10K range "#KillerNote" K8 Note
Lenovo recently announced the K8 Note aka the #KillerNote in India. The high-end device comes with stunning specs including a deca-core processor, dual rear camera setup, 4000mAh battery with fast-charging technology, and Dolby Atmos audio system.
Remember the #KillerNote that Lenovo has been teasing lately? It is now official in the Indian market and will start to be available on August 18, 12:00 PM IST. The Lenovo K8 Note sports a MediaTek Helio X23 deca-core processor, making it the fastest and most powerful device in its price range up to date. It also comes with a dual rear camera setup comprised of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor to capture a DSLR-like depth of field effect. Up front, it has a high-resolution 13-megapixel lens which has a party flash, enabling the user to shoot great-looking selfies even in low light conditions. It is also worth mentioning the K8 Note is the first-ever Lenovo smartphone with dual cameras.
The K8 Note has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 2.5D curved glass on top for protection. Storage-wise, the phone packs two versions: one with 3GB RAM + 32GB built-in memory and the higher-end one with 4GB RAM + 64GB native storage. Both versions support an expandable memory of up to 128GB via microSD card. As for the platform, it runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS/A-GPS, microUSB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It comes with a massive 4000mAh battery which supports fast-charging technology- again another first for the company. Lenovo claims that the battery offers 24.7 hours of talk time and 378 hours of standby time.
The Lenovo K8 Note features a premium metal body and a superb design having body dimensions of 154.5 x 75.9 x 8.5mm and weighs 180 grams. It arrives with two color options: Venom Black and Fine Gold. There's a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner below the vertically-positioned dual camera setup at the back. Sensors on board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. On the audio department, Lenovo happily equipped the K8 Note with a Dolby Atmos sound system for improved audio performance. As for the pricing, the K8 Note carries a price tag of INR 12,999 (around PHP 10,300) for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant and costs INR 13,999 (aroud PHP 11,100) for the beefed-up version with 4GB RAM/64GB storage.
