HUAWEI Enjoy 7S launched, will arrive in markets on December 22

HUAWEI recently took the wraps off its latest mid-range device offering, the Enjoy 7S, in its home country, China. The newly-unveiled smartphone is currently up for pre-orders while shipments start on December 22.

Roughly a week after the HUAWEI Enjoy 7S appeared in the Chinese TENAA authority, it made its official debut in the phone maker's home country, China. Design-wise, the mid-range Enjoy 7S resembles its larger cousin, the Honor 7X, a lot, complete with the edge-to-edge display and minimal top and bottom bezels. Going to the rear panel, we can see that it features a two-tone finish, the upper part which houses the horizontally-positioned dual-camera setup and the lower part with the antenna bands have a lighter shade, most likely made of plastic, compared to the rest of the phone which is metal.

Regarding the specs, the Enjoy 7S features a 5.65-inch FullView display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 18:9, and a pixel density of 427 ppi. Under the hood, it has the company's in-house Kirin 659 octa-core processor clocked at 2.36 GHz and coupled with MaliT830-MP2 GPU. It packs two memory combinations: 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage. Both come with support for an expandable memory of up to 256 GB via microSD card. As for the platform, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 skin on top.

On the camera department, it sports a dual-rear-camera setup, comprised of a 13-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash and a 2-megapixel secondary lens, and a front-facing shooter of 8 megapixels. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and GLONASS. Everything is kept running by a 3000 mAh powerhouse with SuperCharge fast-charging technology on board. It comes in several color options: Black, Blue, Rose Gold, and Gold/Champagne. It costs CNY 1,499 (around PHP 11,000) for the 3 GB RAM/32 GB storage variant and will set you back at CNY 1,699 (around PHP 13,000) for the beefed-up version with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.

Pre-orders are currently up while it will start shipping on December 22.
